Data Analysis Software
There are two software packages that can be used to open, display, process and analyze images captured with NRIMS' Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer:
1. NRIMS ImageJ Analysis Module
2. Isee
Isee is proprietary software that has been customized for NRIMS data analysis needs.
The NRIMS ImageJ Analysis Module is a free plug-in to import into the opensource Java image processing software ImageJ.
The Isee link provides a detailed manual describing data analysis procedures using Isee. The NRIMS ImageJ Analysis Module link provides instructions for installing ImageJ and the NRIMS plug-in and a help file. Many of the functions in Isee are not identical to those in the NRIMS ImageJ Analysis Module, yet the analysis steps and overall logic is the same. The Isee manual will therefore be a useful reference even when using the ImageJ Module to analyze NRIMS data.We encourage you contact us with any questions, feedback, comments, or corrections.
